A Bronze Coin of Masada, the First Jewish Revolt, Set in an 18k Gold Pendent
DESCRIPTION:
This is one of our finest coins in our collection of imprints from the first Jewish Revolt, from approximately 66 AD – 73 AD. This coin clearly shows the ancient Paleo-Hebraic inscriptions on either side, as well as the rebellion’s symbols of an amphora on the obverse and a large leafy lulav on the reverse.
The clarity of this coin is enriched by the fine metalwork of a local jeweler, using only the finest 18k gold to respect and encapsulate the history of this ancient piece. The coin is in excellent condition and dates from approximately 67 AD.
